Family Getaway w/ Private Garden & BBQ

We stayed here for our 40th anniversary. It couldn't have been more perfect. The little patio outside with the fountain was delightful as were the rest of the grounds. The location, right behind The Sacred Place and around the corner from Field and Fort was wonderful – just far enough from the freeway so it was barely a hum in the background.Natty was more than helpful and accommodating with a number of my requests. Plus her online local guide was very useful.I intend to be back well before our 50th!

Stayed here for five nights with my family including two older kids and a toddler and it was one of our favorite vacation rentals ever. The unit is exactly as shown in the photos: in great condition, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed and some nice extras. The king size bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, and the older kids loved their bunk beds. There's a unit above the rental but that was never an issue, the soundproofing was really good and the other guests all very respectful. The rental was great for our toddler, we could close the gate to the patio and he could move between the indoors and outdoors all he liked.We spent a lot of time relaxing on the beautiful private patio and in the incredible shared garden areas. It's like being in a tropical paradise.The location is fantastic and why we initially chose this rental. It's across the street from a park, next door to a gorgeous shop and gardens, a couple doors down from a great brunch spot, and a short walk up the road to downtown Summerland. Meanwhile Santa Barbara and Carpinteria are both less than a 10-minute drive away. You get all the benefits of easy access to activities in those places while staying in a quaint little ocean side town.

The home was clean, and felt very welcoming for a stay. The location was great-quiet, yet close to everything we needed. Negative: Nothing major, the bathroom was a bit awkward since it was located inside of one room.
